About the Team

	Georges Schneider, Founder, CEO Georges Schneider started riding horses at about the same time she started walking. She's been a breeder, an owner, a competitor and a long-time show volunteer. She recently served as Show Committee head for the East Bay Chapter of the California Dressage Society.. When she's not working on Equestrian Entries, Georges can be found working with her 2 year old warmblood filly "Whimsy". She and "Whimsy" are hoping to do some in-hand classes in 2012. Georges has an undergraduate degree in Biology from UC Irvine, an MBA from UC Berkeley and more than a decade of high tech development experience.
	Laurie Daniel Smith, Dressage Maven/VP Customer Support An active member of the equestrian community since age 11, Laurie can be found at a dressage show nearly every weekend, either as a volunteer or show management. She graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Animal Science, and worked as a trainer before starting corporate life. Keeping a work/life balance, she taught Centered Riding lessons on evenings and weekends, but later returned to amateur status. After nearly 20 years in the retail world, and recently earning her MBA from St. Mary's College, Laurie has answered her earlier calling to the equine industry. Her work with Equestrian Entries ties in perfectly with her role as a dressage show manager/secretary.
	Natasha Gelfand, Director of Social Media Natasha Gelfand is a beginner rider but an experienced programmer. After riding as a teenager for a few years, she took a long break and finally started taking lessons again last year. At Equestrian Entries, Natasha works on the Social Media features of the site. When not working on Equestrian Entries or on her sitting trot, she spends time training and competing with her labradors in agility and obedience. Natasha has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Brown University and a Ph.D. in Computer Graphics from Stanford. Previously she worked at Oracle as a Java Developer and an Nokia Research Center as a senior researcher in Visual Computing.
	Fritz Schneider, Director of Development Fritz was a graduate student in engineering at UCLA during the initial invention of the Internet. He has participated in computer language design, operating system development and holds patents in the data base area. He is our development, java, reporting, and html guru. Fritz also provides the adult supervision for the company.
